Van der Dussen climbs to career-best ODI ranking after stunning ton
Proteas batter Rassie van der Dussen has climbed in the latest ICC ODI rankings following his century in South Africa's opening ODI win against England at Chester-le-Street on Tuesday.
Van der Dussen smashed 134 off 117 balls (hitting 10 fours) as South Africa posted a competitive 333-5.
The Proteas then bundled England out for 271, before sealing a 63-run victory in the first of three ODIs.

Van der Dussen, who was named Player of the Match, gained three spots in the ICC ODI rankings and moved to a career-best third on the batting rankings.
Opener Aiden Markram, who shared a 155-run partnership with Van der Dussen, also played an important role as he made 77 off 61 balls. Markram moved up 15 spots to 61st.
Janneman Malan also went up the ICC ODI rankings as he moved one place to joint-35th after scoring 57. The hard-hitting David Miller only mustered 24 runs which saw him move up three places to 24th.
Meanwhile, in the bowling rankings, fast bowler Anrich Nortje took four for 53, which lifted him 18 places to 61st in the ODI rankings.
For England, Jason Roy has moved up one spot to 16th position among the batters after scoring 43 against South Africa.
The second ODI is scheduled for Friday at 14:00 SA time.
