US Navy veteran roasts Celtic fans over Remembrance Day 'disrespect' as heated debate hits the Hotline

Celtic's 2-0 victory against Kilmarnock on Sunday took the Hoops back to the Premiership summit, but honest Parkhead Hotline callers admitted they had stopper Kasper Schmeichel to thank for helping them get the three points at Rugby Park. One punter also wasn't too pleased with Adam Idah's showing at the other end. David Bryce, Troon, said: "Celtic have Schmeichel to thank for a super performance against Killie. Killie were Celtic's toughest domestic opponent of the season and didn’t deserve to lose. Trusty was immense also. Idah was absolutely woeful. An embarrassing display from him."

Kenny Wilson, Moffat, added: "No doubt Celtic were lucky to take 3 points against Kilmarnock as every player was not at their best but that’s what champions do. But it’s about time these plastic pitches were banned in top flight football they are totally awful and make every game on them horrible to watch and it’s the only thing that keeps Kilmarnock in the league."
