Uruguay beat Ghana in World Cup but both go out as Korea advance after stunning Portugal win

Luis Suarez inspired Uruguay to a victory against Ghana but both nations exited the FIFA World Cup as South Korea snatched a dramatic win over Portugal to advance to the Round of 16 alongside the European side.

Hwang Hee-chan's goal in stoppage time was enough to put the Koreans through to the knockout phase on goals scored, even though Uruguay beat Ghana 2-0 in the other match in Group H.

Portugal and Korea will now wait on the results of Group G to see who their opponents will be in the knockout round of the competition.
