Urgent search to find missing girl, 12, not seen for over 24 hours

An urgent search has been launched to locate a missing girl, 12, not seen for over 24 hours. Eliza, from Tameside, was last sighted on Dunkirk Street in Droylsden on Tuesday (February 20).

The schoolgirl, whose surname was not given, is described as a white female, 5ft 4ins tall and of a slim build. She was wearing a navy blue USA pro jacket with a puffed hood, black leggings and black pink and grey Nike trainers.

Greater Manchester Police have circulated a photograph of Eliza as part of the public appeal. Anyone with information is urged to contact the force immediately.
