Urgent police appeal for woman who was spotted 'unsteady on her feet' before vanishing
An urgent appeal has been launched to find a missing woman who vanished more than a week ago. Joanne Shaw was last seen on Thursday, March 28 at around 7am at Macclesfield Bus Station.
The 49-year-old is described as white, 5 ft tall, of a slim build and uses a walking stick due to ‘being unsteady on her feet’, police said.
Joanne was last sighted wearing a yellow coat with a black fur hood, dark leggings, a grey jumper, and trainers. A photograph of Joanne has been shared as part of the public appeal.

She has links to the Crewe area but is believed to have travelled to Stoke-on-Trent.
Chief inspector Sarah O’Driscoll said: “Joanne has now been missing for more than a week and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“Enquiries have been ongoing to trace her and we are now appealing for members of the public to get in touch with us if they believe they have seen her since she was reported missing.
“The same goes for anyone with any information as to her whereabouts.
“We would also like to appeal directly to Joanne to get in touch with us to let us know you are safe and well.
