Urgent police appeal as concern grows over missing 56-year-old woman

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to trace a missing woman from Tameside.

Yvonne was last seen in the Denton area, police said. The 56-year-old was last spotted at around 7.30pm on Tuesday evening (August 13).

She was last seen wearing a blue jumper with blue jeans and grey trainers. Yvonne is described as being around 5ft 6in tall and of slim build.

She has red hair. Greater Manchester Police shared a picture of a her on social media last night as part of an appeal for the public's help to track her down.

The force said officers are 'becoming increasingly concerned' about her and 'want to make sure she is safe and well'. Anyone who spots her, or who has any information on her whereabouts, should get in touch.
