Urgent appeal as woman, 54, goes missing in the early hours

Police have issued an appeal for help to find a woman who went missing from Trafford in the early hours of this morning.

Christine was last seen at around 3.37am on Wednesday (January 17), Greater Manchester Police said. She was last seen on Haydock Avenue in Sale.

The 54-year-old is described as being as white female, who is around 5ft 4in tall and of medium build. She has blonde hair, police said.

She was last seen wearing a black coat, with black trousers and black shoes. Police said officers want to make sure Christine 'is safe and well'.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is being urged to get in touch. Officers can be contacted on 101, quoting 288 on 17/01/24.
