Update in last few hours: Leeds now contact 49-goal ace's agent; Radz and 49ers willing to spend

Leeds United have made contact with the representatives of New York City forward Valentin Castellanos ahead of a possible move.

Castellanos is 23 years of age and is primarily a centre-forward who can also play on either wing.

An Argentina Under-23 international, Castellanos has scored 49 goals during his career so far and has been with New York City for three years.

Bielsa’s thin squad on top of a number of injuries have played their part this season, so adding someone like Castellanos and a midfielder in January could have been a wise
