'Unsafe to eat' biscuits pulled from supermarket shelves due to presence of moth larvae

Biscuits and crispbreads have been deemed 'unsafe to eat' and pulled from supermarket shelves due to the presence of moth larvae.

Daylesford Organic has recalled their 'Rye, Spelt and Raisin Crispbreads' and 'Savoury Biscuit Selection' because of the presence of moth larvae. The company has since issued a recall notice to its customers.

The products affected are the packets of the 120g Organic Rye, Spell and Raisin Crispbread with the best before dates of May 22 and June 5.

Also recalled is the 360g Organic Savoury Biscuit Selection with the best before dates of May 22, June 5, September 10 and also the 960g Organic Savoury Biscuit Selection with the best before days of May 22 and June 5.

Any customers who have bought any of the products have been told not to open or eat them. Instead, they can be returned to the store purchased from for a full refund, with or without the receipt. Alternatively, customers can also contact Daylesford Organic's customer service team for a refund.
