Ukrainian team wins 43 medals at 2026 Marine Corps & Air Force Trials

The Ukrainian national team has won 43 medals at the 2026 Marine Corps & Air Force Trials international sports competition in the United States, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs reports.

"The Ukrainian team, comprising 13 veterans, male and female, demonstrated one of the best results in the competition, winning 43 medals. The men and women defenders won 27 gold medals in running, swimming, powerlifting, discus throw, shot put, cycling, and rowing, and also won team gold in volleyball," the ministry said.

In addition, the team has eight silver medals and two team silver medals in wheelchair rugby and archery, as well as six bronze medals in running, discus throwing, shooting and swimming.

The Marine Corps & Air Force Trials is a key international tournament for military personnel and wounded veterans, bringing together participants from around the world. Along with Ukraine, partner teams from Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom were also invited to participate.

As reported, the Ukrainian national team won a record 76 medals at the 2024 United States Air Force Trials in Las Vegas, USA.
