UK snow weather updates LIVE - Man United and Man City postponement latest as fixtures cancelled
Adverse weather conditions in north England could, once again, impact Premier League fixtures with it possible two games are postponed.
Manchester United are due to take on arch rivals Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon but there are weather warnings for snow and ice from the MET Office ahead of those two rivals clashing which could result in the fixture not going ahead.
Manchester City's clash at home to West Ham, scheduled for 3pm today, is also in jeopardy, though warnings are predicted to last from 6pm on Saturday night until 12pm on Sunday afternoon.
A number of fixtures across the country have already been called off, due to freezing conditions and fan safety with Halifax Town vs AFC Fylde, which would have been played in the region of an hour away from Anfield and Etihad Stadium, no longer being played.
In non-league, meanwhile, Needham Market vs Curzon Ashton and Scunthorpe United vs Brackley Town have both been postponed while the FA Trophy tie between Gosport Boro and Torquay United is also off.
