UFC Paris is scheduled to be taking place from the Accor Arena in Paris, France as confirmed by the official UFC website.

The main event for UFC Fight Night Paris will see Robert Whittaker facing Marvin Vettori in a five-round Middleweight contest.

The Athletic confirmed that the company had the bout scheduled for the main event of the first-ever Paris event.

Originally, Whittaker vs Vettori was meant to be taking place at UFC 275, but had to be cancelled due to an injury sustained by Whittaker.

Speaking to Ronny Lerner of Fox Sports Australia, Whittaker revealed that he is hoping for a trilogy fight against Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, should he defeat Vettori in France.

He said: “I definitely think a trilogy is possible primarily because of the Holloway-Volkanovski trilogy fight going ahead. Especially considering how close my fight was with Izzy last time, I definitely think that is a very real possibility.”
