UFC 332 sees record 9 first-round knockouts, 11 total finishes - ESPN

Saturday night's UFC 332 treated the crowd at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City to a pair of records for knockouts on a single card.

Esteban Ribovics' knockout of King Green at 4:08 of Round 1 was the record-breaking eighth first-round finish of the night.

It didn't take long for the card to break the record again. In the very next fight, Payton Talbott finished Deiveson Figueiredo at 2:32 of Round 1 in the co-main event to up the mark to nine.

The previous record of seven first-round knockouts happened three times: at UFC Fight Night: Medic vs. Rodriguez in August, UFC 329 in July and The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale in April 2005.

Saturday's card also featured 11 total knockouts, including one stretch in which eight consecutive fights ended with a KO or TKO. The previous record for total knockouts was nine, set at UFC Fight Night: Imavov vs. Borralho in September 2025.

In Saturday's main event, Natalia Silva captured the vacant women's flyweight title with a unanimous decision win over Wang Cong. Two judges scored it 48-47, and the third judge had it 49-46 for Silva.

Wang (10-2) threatened Silva (21-5-1) with power shots in the final round, including a left hook that appeared to have stunned her, but Silva survived and grabbed the victory on the scorecards.

Silva and Wang fought for the title after Valentina Shevchenko was forced to vacate her belt because of injury.

Shevchenko commented on the result immediately on social media.

«Well deserved Natalia, Congratulations!,» Shevchenko wrote on X. «It's my pleasure to know that UFC champion's belt is now holding deserving martial artist — such as you are! But don't get too comfortable — keep it warm, I'm coming soon for my belt.»
