UFC 274: Conor McGregor's deleted tweet in response to Tony Ferguson

Conor McGregor has brutally hit back at Tony Ferguson for his rant about the UFC and Dana White.

The American had compared the organisation and its president to ‘drug dealers’ during his UFC 274 media day visit.

Ferguson was speaking ahead of his upcoming lightweight bout against Michael Chandler.

McGregor, who has at times had a tough relationship with the sport himself, then took to Twitter to hit back at the 38-year-old.

He tweeted: “Tony Ferguson, who changes representation around four times a year, is saying it’s someone else’s fault he is in the position he is in.

“How many bridges do you burn before you look yourself in the mirror and say ‘maybe it’s me that’s the issue’

“God bless you pal, I’ll say a prayer.”

As we come to expect from the Irishman these days, however, he’s since deleted said tweet.

El Cucuy has struggled in the Octagon recently as he has lost his last three fights to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush.

Speaking at the pre-fight media day, he said: “I’m taking this weekend very f****** seriously. I’ll kick this Dana White boy’s a**. Nothing personal against Chandler.”

His thoughts then turned to Dana White and he didn’t hold back with what he had to say.

Ferguson added: “I think we’re underpaid personally. I’m not going to say too much.

“Dana said something the other day – it’s on my phone, I think MMA fighting actually reposted it – talking about how boxers are overpaid.

“I asked Dana to box, he said: ‘F*** no.’ I’m like: ‘Why?’ I want to go play baseball, I want to go
