UFC 273 Volkanovski vs The Korean Zombie: Date, Fight Card, Tickets and Everything You Need to Know

UFC 273 is set to be the fourth major PPV event for the biggest MMA company in the world in 2022 and will be headlined by a Featherweight Championship bout.

A much-anticipated rematch for the UFC Bantamweight Championship is also set to take place on the card following a controversial title change in 2021.

As it stands, this looks to be a pretty stacked event, allowing for any potential changes going forward due to injury or COVID-19 restrictions and forced cancellations.

Here’s everything you need to know about UFC 273:

UFC 273 is set to take place on Saturday April 9th from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL, United States.

The following fights have been confirmed for the fight card of UFC 273:

Main Card – 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+ pay-per-view and 3am BST on BT Sport

Preliminary Card – 6:15 p.m. ET on ESPN, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass and 1:00am BST on BT Sport

As noted, all UFC fight cards are subject to change, either due to injury or because of COVID-19 restrictions.

Originally, Volkanovski was scheduled to defend his Featherweight title against Max Holloway, before the former 135-pound Champ had to withdraw due to injury.

Volkanovski took to Twitter ahead of the fight and claimed that Holloway isn’t actually injured and is just ducking the fight, as the former Featherweight Champion is reportedly available as an alternate should Volkanovski or Korean Zombie have to withdraw from the contest.

He tweeted: “@BlessedMMA wants to be the backup fighter for the fight he was originally scheduled to fight. So in other words…he was never injured. Just hoping he doesn’t have to fight me or fight me while I’m preparing for someone…but hey ‘if you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying’…NO.”
