Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora trilogy confirmed with date and venue revealed

Tyson Fury will fight Derek Chisora in a world heavyweight championship fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3rd, it has been confirmed.

It's eight years after the pair last entered the ring together, with Fury beating the now 38-year-old twice in both 2011 and 2014. Since then, Fury has become world champion twice and was expected to face either Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk following Usyk's victory against the former in April.

Talks were reportedly advanced for Fury to face Joshua, but a fight could not be agreed despite AJ's camp agreeing to a 60:40 split. With Usyk seemingly taking a break from the sport before a fight next year, Fury was keen to fill the proposed December 3rd date and has settled on Chisora with the fight confirmed this morning.

Chisora has lost three of his last four fights, but looked in top form when he beat Kubrat Pulev in July. Now, he will face an altogether different challenge against the undefeated WBC champion. On the undercard, it has been confirmed that Daniel Dubois will defend his WBA 'regular' heavyweight belt against South Africa's Kevin Lerena.
