Tyson Fury has finally announced his return to the ring on December 3, with plenty of speculation over a potential opponent, The Gypsy King has finally put pen to paper with an opponent, with a trilogy fight with Derek Chisora officially confirmed.

After numerous U-Turns about his future, Fury will finally fight again, and it will be for a home crowd, with the fight taking place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with The Gypsy King’s WBC title on the line.

It won’t be the only heavyweight title on the line that evening, treating fans to a title fight between Daniel Dubois and Kevin Lerena for the WBA world heavyweight championship.

The Gypsy King has taken on Del Boy twice already, with the first meeting coming over a decade ago in 2011, with the underdog at the time Fury handing Chisora the first L on his record via unanimous decision.

In their rematch three years later, Fury was too good for Chisora, with his corner pulling him out of the fight after the 10th round, meaning the Gypsy King had gone one better and stopped his long-term rival.

When the pair meet again, it will likely be a different story, with Fury at the peak of his powers and Chisora coming to the end of his career, with three losses in his last four outings.

Fury wants an undisputed heavyweight clash with Usyk next year, so taking an easy fight now prevents any chance of him losing his belt before that fight, so the chance to become undisputed remains.

However, he was looking to a tougher challenge in Anthony Joshua when the Ukrainian said he would fight but next year, although terms weren’t agreed.
