Tyson Fury hilariously dubbed Tony Bellew ‘an Anthony Joshua fanboy’ during an interview for talkSPORT.

The Gypsy King, 34, made an appearance on the radio station on Wednesday, a few days after he made public his offer to fight Joshua in a long-awaited Battle of Britain in December.

It came after Bellew insisted that AJ is still the biggest draw in heavyweight boxing despite suffering back-to-back consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

And it didn’t take too long for Fury to respond with a rather crude reference before he stopped himself from going too far.

Responding to Bellew’s latest comments, the 34-year-old said: “Bellew is a fanboy for AJ, isn’t he? He’s on AJ’s hoo-ha. 

“I’m not even going to say it on the radio where he’s sitting, he’s quite high up on AJ’s hoo-ha.

“So, let’s say why is the best fighter in the world – which he knows is me – calling out AJ?

“I’ll tell you why, Bellew, it’s because the other guy little guy who just beat your bodybuilding mate, Usyk, doesn’t want no smoke with the Gypsy King.

“He’s come out and said that publicly, ‘I do not want to fight Tyson until next year.'”

Fury himself believes he’s the sport’s biggest draw and pointed out the fact that he sold out Wembley Stadium for his clash with Dillian Whyte in April.

He added: “Bellew’s saying, ‘Oh, people like Anthony Joshua sell out tickets’.

“Who does he think he’s talking to? 

“I’ve got the highest attending crowd in the history of the UK – 94,000, on my own!

“However, AJ and his mate, Eddie Hearn, are both happy with the 40 per cent.”
