Tyson Fury's World Heavyweight Title Defence With Dillian Whyte Finally Made Official

Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte will meet for the WBC heavyweight world title, after the match between the two British was finally made official.

The fight will take place at Wembley on April 23rd, and will be the first time that Fury has fought in his home country since he beat Sefer Seferi in June 2018, which was his comeback after three years out.

Since then the undefeated Brit has fought once in Northern Ireland and then had five fights in the US, three of whilst have been against Deontay Wilder.

After months of talking about whether it would or wouldn't happen, Fury's latest defence of his world title has been announced, after the two men signed the contracts.

There was a deadline on Monday night for Whyte to put pen to paper and, despite it being very quiet from his side, Fury took to social media to mock the 'mind games' and confirm that the contract had been signed.

"What’s surprise. An absolute idiot. Should this even be a talking point? The man signed for the biggest payday he’s ever going to get in his life," Fury began his rant.

"Oh my god my head hurts from all the mind games that Dillian Whyte has been playing on me. 

"Oh my god. I’m so sore. I don’t know whether I’m coming or going. My training camp is a mess."

The 33-year-old then showed himself running next to training partner, and fellow heavyweight, Joseph Parker, saying he was going to 'bust Dillian Whyte like a cheap water balloon' and then Parker was going to do the same, despite previously losing to Whyte.

Fury's last defence came in the third installment of his trilogy with Deontay Wilder, as he won an 11th round stoppage against the Bronze Bomber.
