Tyson Fury's trainer reveals game plan for Dillian Whyte heavyweight blockbuster

SugarHill Steward has revealed that Tyson Fury has no game plan for his upcoming fight with Dillian Whyte and that he'll go into the bout reacting to whatever his opponent brings into the ring against him on April 23. Set to be the final fight of his illustrious career should he stay true to his word, Fury has now started his training camp as he aims to defend his WBC belt against Whyte in an all-British blockbuster clash that is set to be held at Wembley Stadium.

It'll be Fury's first fight on home soil since August 2018, when he beat Francesco Pianeta in Belfast. Since then, his last five fights have all taken place in the United States In preparation to face Whyte, Fury has begun training, pictured recently training with controversial boxer Jarrell Miller.

And speaking ahead of the upcoming bout, Fury's trainer SugarHill, the nephew of legendary late trainer Emanuel Steward, has revealed that the Gypsy King will come into the fight with no fixed game plan, but will read from Whyte's approach and adapt in the ring.

Steward told BT Sport: "It’s only a matter of time. You can’t avoid what’s been avoided for long. There’s always going to be a time where you’re going to have to face up to it," said Sugarhill about Dillian Whyte not showing up for the kickoff press conference to promote his fight with Fury which takes place on April 23.

"Tyson is just whatever he feels. I don’t know what the opponent, Dillian, is thinking. Maybe he has a plan when he sees him. Tyson doesn’t have a plan. It’s just whatever feedback he gets from the person in front of him is where he’ll go from there.

"That’s his ability to adjust and create and stay in control.
