Tyson Fury's brother tosses water on Dillian Whyte during Wembley fight

Tyson Fury's brother appeared to throw a cup of water at Dillian Whyte on Saturday during the heavyweight showdown between the two fighters.

Fury produced a masterful performance to get the better of his compatriot, bringing a shuddering end to the contest in the sixth round with a pinpoint uppercut.

Prior to that, there were spells when the bout was scruffy, with Whyte struggling to close the distance to his rangy opponent and becoming increasingly desperate with his punches as a result.

In the fourth round, that scrappiness did appear close to turning angst in to genuine anger. Both fighters aimed punches at the back of the other's head and a cup containing liquid hit the duo as they squabbled on the ropes.

The Fury camp were clearly not happy and it's been claimed that the champion's brother Shane was the one who tossed the receptacle into the ring. They are reported to have been miffed by some of the underhand tactics being employed by Whyte.

In the end, the approach made little difference, as Fury showed his class to win before the contest reached the scheduled halfway point.

Speaking after the fight, the 33-year-old said his boxing career was over, that despite the fact he sold 94,000 seats at Wembley. A potential mega-fight could potentially be in the works too, with a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua scheduled for later this year.
