Tyson Fury's brother to fight on Anthony Joshua v Francis Ngannou undercard tonight

There's a Fury on the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou undercard, but it might not be the one you're thinking of.

Tyson and John Fury have been making waves in the lead-up to the big fight between former heavyweight world champ Joshua and MMA legend Ngannou. Tyson even crashed a press conference, while dad John had a surprisingly friendly chat with Joshua.

They're also in the Middle East to cheer on Roman Fury, 27, who is gearing up for just his fourth professional fight when he faces Czech newbie Martin Svarc at Riyadh's Kingdom Arena. Roman has previously beaten Ryan Hibbert, Erik Nazaryan and Bradley Davies. He's the full brother of fellow boxer and Love Island star Tommy and half-brother to Tyson, who has called him "an aspiring cruiserweight champion of the future".

Roman excelled at another sport, Rugby League, when he was younger. He caught the boxing bug while training with Tommy after losing his job during the pandemic.

Roman has shared how his life took a turn during lockdown. He told The Sun: "I used to be six stone heavier than what I am now. I was 20 stone, a real mess. Lockdown happened, I had no work, I was eating c**p, playing on the Xbox, and I had no life whatsoever. Tommy invited me down to train with him, I had a couple of sessions and I started getting into it."

"I trained more and more until it went from training twice a week to six times a week and the weight came off, the confidence grew. It's not just a physical thing, it's a mental thing as well. It's turned my life around completely."
