Tyson Fury next fight: Anthony Joshua date and Oleksandr Usyk delay explained

After his victory over Dillian Whyte in April, Tyson Fury was adamant that he had boxed for the last time in his professional boxing career.

But after witnessing Anthony Joshua face Oleksandr Usyk last month, the Gypsy King has since declared himself as back and ready to fight, first looking to challenge Usyk before now moving on to Joshua.

Speaking to Ring Magazine, he said: "I got bored with retirement. I had five months out the ring and changed my mind. Nobody believed me anyway, did they?… It was great. But nothing will ever compare with being heavyweight champion of the world. I love boxing. I absolutely adore it."

Earlier this week, Fury decided to call out Joshua for a fight later this year. This came off the back of Joshua's second loss to Usyk, with many wondering where he would go in his career from there.

Fury has offered Joshua a route back to the top, in a fight that would be one of the biggest heavyweight bouts in boxing history.

It emerged that Joshua had reportedly accepted Fury's offer ahead of a proposed fight at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Fury revealed yesterday that he has offered Joshua a 60:40 split for their proposed 'Battle of Britain' fight.

Talks are still ongoing, Fury reportedly wanting the fight to be held in November whilst Joshua wants a bout on December 17 in the Welsh capital.

Things have moved very quickly over the past 48 hours, with Fury casting doubt over the fight because
