Tyson Fury aims fresh dig at ‘cowards’ Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte

Tyson Fury has launched a scathing attack on his two biggest domestic heavyweight boxing rivals and branded Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte ‘cowards’.

The Gypsy King is keen on making an imminent return to he ring having vanquished Deontay Wilder, ending his trilogy against the American with another emphatic knockout victory, back in October.

Fury, the WBC champion, is reportedly keen on a unification bout with Oleksandr Usyk, holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts.

The matter is complicated as Joshua is entitled to a rematch against Usyk having lost to the Ukrainian last year, while Whyte is Fury’s mandatory WBC challenger.

There have been reports Joshua has been offered a £15million deal to step aside, although the 32-year-old has angrily denied suggestions he has agreed to anything of the kind.

He said Monday: ‘Where did this person get this information from? I see people saying “AJ accepts £15m to step aside.”

‘I ain’t signed no contract, I ain’t seen no contract. As it stands, stop listening to the b*t until it comes from me.

‘I’m the man in control of my destiny. I’m the man who handles my business. I’m a smart individual and I make calculated decisions every step of the way.

‘Don’t listen to the bt from other sources. If I tell you something then you know it’s real.’

Whyte, meanwhile, is reportedly involved in a dispute with the WBC over pay. Both situations are clearly irritating Fury, who is keen to get his next fight lined up.
