Tyrone hang on against 14-man Armagh as O'Neill sees red
Tyrone held on for a narrow 0-13 to 0-11 victory over 14-man Armagh in the big Ulster derby at O'Neills Healy Park.
The Red Hands led by 0-08 to 0-04 at the break, Darren McCurry hitting four of their scores, and Armagh’s task was made all the more daunting by a straight red card shown to ace attacker Rian O’Neill five minutes before the interval.
The Orchard pressed bravely in the final quarter, coming from six points behind to close the gap to two, but the home side survived for a first championship win in five games.
