Tyrone and Monaghan share spoils in difficult conditions in Omagh
Tyrone and Monagyan finished level in a typical winter derby dogfight at O'Neill’s Healy Park, with Conor McManus coming off the bench to rescue a point for the Farney men.
Two points each from Cathal McShane and Niall Sludden helped the Red Hands to a 0-6 to 0-4 interval lead, but Monaghan fought back with scores from Ryan McAnespie, goalkeeper Rory Beggan, from play, and Conor McCarthy.
Darren McCurry regained the lead for the All-Ireland champions, but it was McManus who had the last say to save his side from defeat.
