Two suspects named as charges made in organised crime probe

Two men have been charged in connection with a police probe into organised crime.

Warrants were carried out as part of an investigation by Greater Manchester Police's City of Manchester Central Challenger team on Wednesday (March 6). Two men have since been charged.

Justin Shaw, 22, of Richmond Grove East, Manchester, has been charged with concern in the supply of Class A drugs. Ryan Lapworth, 44, of Cottingham Road, Manchester, has also been charged with the same offence.

Both have been remanded into custody. Police said they were due to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court today.
