Two men charged as police uncover £22,000 worth of class A drugs after stopping car
Two men have been charged after police uncovered £22,000 worth of class A drugs after stopping a car. Plain-clothed officers from the Tameside Challenger Team, working on an operation to intercept vehicles suspected to be transporting drugs, stopped a vehicle in Derbyshire on Monday (January 15).
They later discovered Class A substances, including Crack Cocaine and Heroin. A subsequent raid at a property in Audenshaw then led to the discovery of more drugs, all estimated to be worth around £22,000 in total.
Two men, aged 26 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply class A heroin.

On Tuesday (January 16), Bailey Turner, 26, of Ashton New Road was charged with charged with four counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin (Class A).
Shaun Mitchell, 40, of Denton Court was charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin (Class A). Both men are due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on February 20.
