Two Manchester United rivals 'enter race for Victor Osimhen' and other transfer rumours

Real Madrid and Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the summer.

MEN Sport understands that the Serie A forward and Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane are among the Reds' top transfer targets in the summer. It is no surprise that United are targeting the Nigerian international when you see his goalscoring statistics for this season.

Osimhen has managed 18 goals in 22 appearances for the runaway leaders and has earned plenty of praise this campaign. However, should United want to secure the signature of the 24-year-old, they will have to fend off interest from two European rivals, according to Fichajes.

It is claimed that Carlo Ancelotti and Jurgen Klopp both see Osimhen as an option to strengthen their forward lines. Los Blancos are looking at options to replace Karim Benzema while the Merseyside club are looking for an alternative to Darwin Nunez.

Elsewhere, United are reportedly concerned about the amount of money they could lose by selling Harry Maguire. MEN Sport understands that the Reds' captain is up for sale in the summer as Erik ten Hag continues his rebuild.

However, according to the Daily Mail, there is a concern about how big a loss they could make on the central defender. The report states that United could be set to drop the 29-year-old's price tag by £40m should they wish to sell him.

Ten Hag previously claimed that Maguire was not up for sale but it is widely believed that stance has changed. The captain made a rare start on Sunday during United's 2-0 win over Leeds.
