Twitter appears to be down, with social media users reporting they are unable to access the site.
DownDetector, which collates problems reported shows a massive spike in users reporting the site is down.
Users are greeted with an error message when trying to access the site stating "Something went wrong, but don’t fret — it’s not your fault. Let’s try again."
