Triple H discusses Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Sasha Banks & The Rock’s WWE futures

WWE’s head of creative, Triple H, has given the lowdown on potential returns for four of the franchise’s most recognised ex-fighters.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani in an interview for BT Sport, he discussed the futures of Sasha Banks, Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and The Rock.

Following Vince McMahon’s resignation as CEO of the WWE, son-in-law Hunter has assumed the role of executive vice president of talent relations and head of creative.

Last week, Sasha Banks took to social media to post a gym selfie of her toned physique, leading to rumours of a potential comeback to the ring.

Banks was involved in a dramatic departure from professional wrestling, which saw tag-team partner Naomi also leave.

Shortly after becoming women’s tag team champions, the pair reportedly walked away from the WWE after falling out with McMahon.

Some fans believe that his resignation has opened the door to a potential return.

Of Banks, Triple H said: “She’s an unbelievably talented young woman that can do just about anything she wants. It just comes down to what does she want to do now with her life, her career, whatever that is.

“The passion clearly for what we do, there’s a passion for other things as well. It comes down to what does she want to do? It’s gotta be right for her, gotta be right for everybody.”

Former universal and intercontinental champion Braun Strowman has not competed in the WWE since being released on June 2, 2021.

Recent rumours suggest Scherr could be close to making a return to the ring.
