Transfer news live: Dusan Vlahovic to Arsenal latest, Manchester United reject Jesse Lingard offer

As we approach the final week of the January transfer window there is still plenty of business to be done across the Premier League.

Newcastle United’s attempts to sign Jesse Lingard appear to have hit a wall with Manchester United rejecting their loan offer for the England international.

Tottenham and West Ham also remain interested in the midfielder who is into the final six months of his contract at Old Trafford.

Arsenal meanwhile are still hoping to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina, although they are running out of time to convince him to make the move to north London.

The Gunners have however received an offer from Al Nassr for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang which may aid their efforts to bring the Serbian to north London.

The Saudi Arabian side are prepared to cover his entire wage packet during a six-month loan spell – a deal which will include an obligation to buy for £7m.
