Transfer deadline aftermath LIVE as Celtic and Rangers plus Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs finalise squads

Aaaaand breathe! The transfer deadline has passed after a summer of twists and turns.

It's been a dramatic few months as clubs conducted business at a frenzied pace to ensure they're tooled up for the long season ahead.

Champions Celtic made no fewer than nine new signings with Rubin Kazan midfielder Oliver Abildgaard arriving on a season-long deal on deadline.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst was linked with a stunning move for free agent Ross Barkley but it appears there's no real interest at Rangers' end.

Hibs announced no fewer than THREE deadline-busting deals - with Will Fish, Harry McKirdy and Mykola Kukharevych all being announced in the early hours of Friday morning.

Hearts signed Stephen Humphrys to cover for the injured Liam Boyce but missed out on a late deal for Aberdeen's Christian Ramirez, who has vented his frustration at remaining at Pittodrie.

David Bates has left the Dons in their only significant deadline day development.
