Tragedy of 'loving and adoring' dad, 53, who died after being hit by a train

Construction site manager Christopher Scotson, 53, from Trafford, had a number of issues which had seen his mental health 'deteriorate' in the months before his death.

Just weeks before his death he had also disclosed an allegation that he had been the victim of a sexual assault 'as a young man', but police told him they would be taking no further action as they were unlikely to be able to find the suspected culprit, a coroner was told.

Mrs Scotson said her husband had suffered
