Trafford Centre's £2.50 splash park, giant beach and fair returning for school holidays summer 2024

A giant beach and splash park are returning to The Trafford Centre this summer along with its popular fairground.

Following the success of last year's Summer Daze event, the fun is returning for the school holidays under the new name Bright Lights, Big Fun and promises 'even more excitement'.

A massive 600 square metre beach will arrive outside The Great Hall, 'perfect for building sandcastles and soaking up the Manchester sun', which will hopefully make an appearance over the long break.

Visitors will be able to cool off at the giant splash park, equipped with multiple water jets for families to enjoy.

There will be more than 20 rides for kids of all ages, from tea cups, a balloon ride and bumper boats for little ones, to Star Flyer and Zero Gravity for thrill seekers, as well as a new Freak Out ride. There'll also be a large inflatable area to play on.

Of course there will be lots of foodie treats up for grabs at the site, with a range of vendors selling ice cream, doughnuts, crepes, burgers, and sweets.

The full list of fairground rides includes:
