Tottenham 'want to agree deal' with £81m star at Hotspur Way

Tottenham would like Harry Kane to sign a new deal, says The Sun’s Tom Barclay.

The 29-year-old is out of contract in 2024 and is currently thought to be attracting interest from Bayern Munich.

According to Kicker, Kane is one of Bayern’s top targets as they look to replace Robert Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona during the summer.

The German outlet states that initial contact has already been made with Kane’s camp, which will come as a worrying development to Tottenham.

Chelsea have also been linked with the Englishman but, given their fierce rivalry with Spurs, you would imagine that it would be extremely difficult for them to sign him.

Kane has already punished the west London club this season, scoring the equaliser in his side’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge last month.

Barclay thinks Tottenham would like Kane to put pen to paper on a new deal at Hotspur Way, but The Sun journalist says there is no update on his contract situation.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “He’s obviously a world-class striker, whose contract is up at the end of next season. We’ll have to wait to see what he does, whether he signs a new deal. I’m sure Tottenham would like him to do that, but I haven’t heard anything new on that side of things.”
