Antonio Conte must decide between sticking with a winning Tottenham team and making changes during a busy week of fixtures.

Southampton come to town as Spurs return to Premier League action on Wednesday night and the Tottenham boss will be without three injured players.

He ruled Eric Dier and Oliver Skipp out following their respective thigh and groin injuries, as well as Japhet Tanganga with his knee problem.

Dier is expected to be back within a week and understands that Skipp suffered a minor setback with an infection following treatment on his groin injury but Conte said he is pushing for the midfielder to return within the next 10 days.

The Spurs boss could be tempted to hand first starts to his two new signings Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski, who both made their debuts against Brighton in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Bentancur is in a fitter position to start against Southampton, having played two near full matches for Uruguay during the international break. Kulusevski has not started a match in almost a month, so much will depend on his level of fitness.
