Tottenham have joined a plethora of clubs chasing the signature of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez, according to A Bola, via Sport Witness. The 22-year-old has managed to impress a number of suitors, including North London rivals Arsenal, with his latest strike against Liverpool in the Champions League continuing his meteoric rise.

He may not come cheap though, as the report claims Benfica are constantly increasing his valuation, setting it as high as a potential €100million (£83million) move. Whether Spurs could afford to make that move remains to be seen.

Former Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has been linked with a move back to Spurs this summer, which would also see him reunite with his former Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte.
