Tottenham news: Dejan Kulusevski transfer details emerge as UEFA make major FFP decision

Here is your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Wednesday, March 23.

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly have the option to make Dejan Kulusevski’s move from Juventus permanent earlier than first planned. The Swedish midfielder moved to north London on a loan deal in the January transfer window and is set to stay until the summer of 2023.

It was originally reported that Spurs had negotiated the option of a mandatory €35m (£29m) permanent transfer once that original deal had expired but only if a number of certain conditions had been met, including Champions League qualification and a certain number of appearances. Fabrizio Romano has reported that there is a €30m (£25m) option to buy this summer. It of course remains to be seen if Fabio Paratici activates that clause but Kulusevski has turned in a series of impressive performances since his arrival having scored twice and provided four assists. That could include anything from points deductions to relegation from the Champions League. Find out what impacts that could have on Spurs here.
