Tottenham could make three more signings after Bissouma at Hotspur Way

Tottenham are hoping to make at least four more signings this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Antonio Conte has already added two players to his squad and wants to complete more business before his side report back to Hotspur Way for the start of pre-season later this month.

Before the transfer window had officially opened on Friday, Spurs already secured deals for Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic, who will join once their contracts expire at Southampton and Inter Milan.

But with Conte hoping for a major overhaul of his squad, the hierarchy are still hard at work trying to get more deals over the line.

The Telegraph reported last month that Conte needs six players to be able to be able to build a squad ready to compete in both the Premier League and Champions League.

And Bridge reckons that Spurs’ plans remain the same, with four of the positions he requested yet to be filled.

When asked about the remainder of Tottenham’s transfer plans, he told GIVEMESPORT: “From what I was told, it hasn’t changed.

“Let’s start from the back, goalkeeper, done, right wing-back, to do, that could be next, left centre-back, to do, left wing-back, done, centre midfield, to do and in an ideal world a striker. That hasn’t changed since the end of the season.”

In terms of a right wing-back, it’s clear that Middlesbrough youngster Djed Spence, who spent last season on loan with Nottingham Forest, is the club’s number one target.

According to The Athletic, Spurs are continuing to negotiate a price with the Championship oufit, although the 21-year-old prefers a move to north London and looks like he might eventually get his wish.
