Tottenham: 115-goal target set to 'move on' amid Hotspur Way links

Tottenham‘s pursuit of Christian Eriksen could be handed a major boost with the midfielder likely to leave Brentford, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

The Denmark international is out of contract and is yet to decide on his future, with a return to north London one of several offers on the table.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Bees are keen on extending Eriksen’s deal in west London, but the 30-year-old is considering options from ‘many’ clubs.

Eriksen recently commented on his future: “I have different offers and options, which we are considering, and then we make a decision.

“I would love to play Champions League football again. I know how much fun it is, but it isn’t essential for me.”

That could open the door for Manchester United, who won’t be playing in Europe’s elite competition after finishing sixth and have made the ex-Ajax ace an offer.

But Tottenham have also made a proposal for Eriksen, who played under Antonio Conte previously and won the Serie A title together in 2020-2021.

When asked about Eriksen’s future, he told GIVEMESPORT: “I hear that he’s probably going to move on from Brentford.

“I don’t think he owes Brentford anything, I think they could have got relegated before he got in the team. I think they had seven out of eight league games, they were in absolute free fall, Eriksen came in and they were unbeaten.”
