Torvill and Dean 2025 UK tour ticket prices confirmed

Ice skating legend Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will take to the ice for one last time for a farewell tour next year. The British Olympians announced on Wednesday (February 14) that they would be retiring from skating next year.

Along with their retirement news, they revealed that they would go on a final tour in 2025, which includes three dates at Manchester’s AO Arena next may. The Torvill & Dean: Our Last Dance farewell tour will travel around the UK in April and May, starting at the OVO Arena Wembley in London on April 12 and finishing at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on May 11.

Tickets went on sale on February 14, which the pair call ‘Bolero Day’ in honour of their Olympic win. They can be bought via Ticketmaster here. Torvill and Dean were the first to perform at the AO Arena in 1995 when it opened its door, so their tour dates in 2025 mark 30 years since they took to the ice there.

The news comes as the duo commemorate the 40th anniversary of their Olympic gold win. At the 1984 Winter Games in Sarajevo the Torvill and Dean made spotting history with their iconic routine to Ravel’s Bolero.

Across the UK 24 million people tuned in to watch the breathtaking performance which won them their gold medals and set a new record for the highest score ever achieved for a single programme. Following their performance the pair had an impressive winning streak finishing no lower than first place in any competition over the next 10 years, which ended in 1994 with a bronze Olympic medal.

In the years that followed the duo embarked on touring, coaching and choreographing. From 2006 to 2014 they became the faces of ITV’s Dancing On Ice, and later became head judges
