Christmas Day is fast approaching. Opportunities for last-minute shopping are few and far between.

Dare you venture into town and navigate the madness of Market Street? How about a trip to the Trafford Centre? That's always a breeze this close to the big day... right? If only!

As usual, the shopping destination was RAMMED on Friday (December 22) as people flocked to bag stocking fillers. The car parks were chock-a-block, with drivers going round in circles hoping and praying to find a spot.

While the vast majority of thoughtful, responsible motorists play the game and patiently wait for a space, some play by their own rules.

Parking on pavements, blocking turning points and ignoring double yellow lines - we're sure, like us, you've seen it all.

This festive period is no different, as our pictures below show. Despite risking a ticket, some people are happy dumping their cars in daft spots and going on their merry way.
