"Too good to turn down" - Journalist reveals inside Harry Kane and Man United transfer claim
The possibility of Tottenham striker Harry Kane joining Manchester United this summer is based on Mauricio Pochettino potentially succeeding Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford, says transfer insider Dean Jones.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to the Red Devils, and Jones believes there is a good chance of it happening should Pochettino become manager of the club due to the two having a “very tight” relationship.
Both Kane and Pochettino, who enjoyed a wonderful time at Tottenham together, are thought to be targets for United this summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Premier League outfit are considering making a bid for the England captain, with their hopes of signing Erling Haaland dashed as the Borussia Dortmund striker eyes up a transfer to rivals Manchester City.
Elsewhere, the Daily Mail has claimed that United are hoping to name their next manager by the end of April and Pochettino is currently one of the leading candidates for the job.
