Tony Mowbray delivers upbeat Blackburn player injury news ahead of Sheffield United

Tony Mowbray has been speaking to the press ahead of Blackburn Rovers’ game with Sheffield United on Wednesday night in the Sky Bet Championship, and he has given an update on Deyo Zeefuik’s fitness.

The player arrived in January at Ewood Park but has suffered with an injury recently, though it appears as though he is not far away from a return now.

Indeed, speaking to the press earlier on today and quoted via Blackburn’s official Twitter account, Mowbray revealed that Zeefuik was back in training as of today and that he hasn’t lost too much natural fitness whilst he has been away, meaning a return to the playing fold shouldn’t be far off.
