Tommy Fury confirms he will fight Jake Paul in boxing match on August 6

Tommy Fury has confirmed that he will be fighting Jake Paul in a boxing match later this summer.

After what has turned out to be a pretty long-running saga, Tommy Fury and Jake Paul finally seem to be lining up for a boxing showdown on August 6. Paul made it known a few weeks ago that he was planning on returning in early August, with Amanda Serrano also being set to feature on the card alongside him at Madison Square Garden.

The opponent hadn’t been officially announced when the MSG reveal was made but Paul heavily implied that Tommy Fury would be the man standing across from him in the world’s most famous arena.

‘The Problem Child’ recently took to social media and implied that despite meeting all of Fury’s requirements for the fight to take place, Tommy was still considering pulling out as a result of his father not being able to travel to the United States for the contest.

Paul cut quite the promo on Twitter, giving Fury a deadline of 24 hours before pulling the plug on the whole operation.

Shortly after sending the tweet, Jake got what he wanted as Fury made it clear that he would be making the venture over to America to try and put an end to Paul’s pro boxing career once and for all.

“The fight is on. August 6th. Forget a team or any other bulls***. I don’t need anybody to help me lay you flat on that canvas. Oh and thanks for finally signing the drug testing… you only agreed to it when you realised the fight was at risk – who needs who”
