Tom Brady: Internet fumes over 'embarrassingly bad' decision in Bucs v Falcons game

Tom Brady and his apparent protection from referees has left many online furious following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ win over the Atlanta Falcons. 

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers moved to 3-2 this week with their win over their NFC South rivals the Atlanta Falcons, with Brady putting on yet another clinic of incredible quarterback play, throwing for 351 yards and completing 67% of his passes, as the Buccaneers snapped their two-game losing streak.

What makes the stats all the more incredible, in fact what makes everything that he is doing so far this season more incredible, is that he is doing it at the age of 45, whilst the rest of the offensive unit have barely been able to get a proper week of practice together given the injuries that they’ve had to suffer through in the early part of the season.

However, one thing that did help them this week, depending om who you talk to, was the refereeing, as there was a rather questionable call made by the officials at a rather crucial part of the game.

Late in the 4th quarter, the Buccaneers were looking to put together a drive to kill the clock, and force the Falcons to use their remaining timeouts in order to seal the game.

But on a 3rd down play, Brady was sacked by the Falcons’ Grady Jarrett, which looked as if it would force the Buccaneers to punt, and give the Falcons one last chance to drive down the field and possibly win the game. However, the play was called back for ‘roughing the passer’, even though looking at it, it looked as if it was a pretty clean and fair tackle.
