Tojemarine, Defender, rebound as Prudent Energy handball tourney enters day three
Tojemarine Academy, Niger United, Safety Shooters, Rima Queens and Defender Babe won their matches on Day Two of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League Phase One holding at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Tojemarine defeated Police Machine 29 to 22 yesterday to win their first game in the men’s category, Benue Buffaloes lost 25 to 33 to former champions, Niger United, while Safety Shooters walked over Kada Stars to win their second game.
In the women’s cadre, Rima Queens won their second match when they beat Plateau Peacocks 16 to 15, while Imo Grasshoppers lost to Defender Babes 30 to 35.
Today, Tojemarine Academy will clash with Police Machine, Benue Buffaloes will trade tackles with Niger United, while Lagos Seasiders will battle Rima Strikers in the men’s category.
Other matches in the men’s category are Kada Stars versus Safety Shooters, Confluence Stars against De Defenders, while Owena Kings have a date with Kano Pillars.
In the women’s fixtures, Plateau Peacocks will trade tackles with Rima Queens, Defender Babes will meet Imo Grasshoppers, Bendel Dynamos have a duel against Seasider Babes, Kada Queens will challenge Adorable Angels, while Benue Queens will battle with Safety Babes.
