TOISA 2021: Meet the nominees - Abhishek Verma

This was Verma's second individual World Cup gold medal.

Verma had got past Russia's Antony Bulaev 146-138 in the semis to enter his first World Cup final since Salt Lake City 2018 where he had picked a silver. Teaming up with Vennam Jyothi Surekha, Verma bagged a mixed team silver in the World Championships in Yankton, USA in September.

Verma was one of the nominees in the Male Archer of the Year category for TOISA 2021.
