Todd Boehly's urgent transfer wishlist following Chelsea's frustrating draw against Wolves

Todd Boehly was present at Stamford Bridge for the first time since Chelsea announced that they had an agreement to be the new Chelsea owner, subject to approval from the Premier League and the UK Government. There was not much to expect from the new boss as all he could do was watch along in his executive seats as the Blues took on Wolves. As far as first impressions go, Boehly gave the right one.

The Chelsea FC coverage ensured that Boehly was captured on screen several times, and each time he looked more interested in the game than the last. I guess there was the fear that he could have been a casual Chelsea fan, but it looks like his heart was in it. Following his visit to Stamford Bridge, here are a few things he might need to consider.

It was a warm welcome in the stadium for the new owners. The players looked much calmer and relaxed, as did the fans before kick-off. It felt like a heavy load had been lifted following Chelsea's official announcement of an agreement with Todd Boehly that came in the early hours of the day. Once the match started, however, the tensions crept back in, minute by minute.

Boehly reacted to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Timo Werner's disallowed goal just as any fan of the club would. A sense of disbelief followed the premature celebrations.
